Cjc = Complexus junctarum cellularum (Schlußleistenkomplex; besteht aus Zo, Za und Ma);
Clv = Klathrin- überzogenes Bläschen ("Clathrin coated" vesicle = Endozytosevesikel);
D = Interdigitationen (fingerförmige Verzahnungen der Zellmembranen);
Gx = Glykokalix wird von den Antennulae microvillares gebildet; iF = Intermediärfilamente;
Ly = primäres Lysosom; Ma = Macula adhaerens (Fleckdesmosom);
Mi = Mitochondrien (Crista-Typ); Mt = Mikrotublus; Mv = Mikrovilli; P = Plasmalemma (Zellmembran);
PR = Polyribosomen (eng beieinander liegende Ribosomen); RER = rauhes endoplasmatisches Retikulum;
Rt = Rete terminale (terminales Netzwerk; hier sind die Aktinfilamente der Mikrovilli verankert);
Za = Zonula adhaerens (Gürteldesmosom; hier sind die Filamente des terminalen Netzwerks verankert);
