Detail: M-Linie
A = anisotrope, doppelbrechende Bande (A-Bande, Länge entspricht der Länge der Myosinfilamente);
Af = Aktinfilament (es liegen jeweils 6 Filamente um ein Myosinfilament; siehe oberes Detail);
H = H-Linie = hellerer Hensenscher Streifen (hier sind keine Aktinfilamente mehr erkennbar);
Mi = Mitochondrium (Crista-Typ); Mf = Myosinfilamente; Myf = Myofibrille (gebündelte Muskelfilamente).
SER = sarkoplasmatisches Retikulum = L-Tubuli  = glattes endoplasmatisches Retikulum (Ca++Speicher).
* = Proteinquerverbindungen zwischen den Myosinfilamenten (dabei sind Skelemin Intermediärfilamente beteiligt).
